Our Backstory
Hey, Bronislav here! During my time in the water, mold, and fire restoration industry I have worked my way up from an apprentice totally new to the field to now owning my own restoration company alongside my wife. It was evident as I entered the industry that this was a field that I truly wanted to learn all I could about; so, thats what I did. I voraciously attended every possible certification course I could, took every opportunity to take extra hours so I could learn in the field, and worked to absorb every opportunity I possibly could to learn about mitigation and restoration work. I found myself swiftly moving up from an apprentice to a technician, to a lead technician to a project manager to being the head of an entire restoration department and here I am now heading my own company: Roots Water Restoration. This work for me isn't just a job or career or even a business, it's a true passion. That passion doesn't simply lie in the work itself though, but in how it allows me to serve those around me. No one wants water, fire, or mold damage in their home; but it happens and usually it is at the worst possible time for homeowners. My passion for this industry lies in taking the worst possible situation for homeowners and serving them at the highest level until their home is whole again. It's the people that this industry serves, that makes this work worth it for me. This company and heading my team of trusted technicians is the next step in my journey of learning and growing in the field of mitigation and restoration work, but one thing is for certain: it is you, our neighbors, that make serving in this industry my passion. We hope it doesn't happen to you; but if you ever experience water, fire, or mold damage we are here to serve you at the highest level and it's our honor to do so.
Our Name: Roots
Roots: it's so much more than just a name. On a a very literal level, roots seek out water and absorb it to grow and continue to provide oxygen to the environment around it. That is one of our essential services here at Roots Water Restoration, we remove water from environments where it can cause harm so that life can continue and thrive. On another level, roots provide trees with the ability to come back in some of the harshest conditions. When a tree endures a fire and is top-killed, it can regrow by sprouting again from the roots. When the devastation of fire affects your home, we can provide you with fire and smoke mitigation so that you and your family can begin the process of re-sprouting just like the roots of a tree. On another level, we chose Roots as our name because we plan to serve the communities in which we have planted roots for our own family. Over the time our family has lived in Western Washington, we have planted roots in Anacortes, where we've lived; Bellingham, where we've attended college; Sedro-Woolley & Mount Vernon, where Sydney has served our communities youth as a teacher, and Oak Harbor, where we've spent our childhood visiting family every summer and extended holiday. These roots allow us to serve you, our neighbors, our family, our friends. These are our roots and we plan to continue serving the communities that have given us so much.
